Youth Development Specialist - Part-Time

The youth development specialist provides services to children and adolescents under the direction of the interdisciplinary treatment team, offering quality youth care and close intensive supervision within a residential treatment setting. Essential duties include creating a safe living environment, developing and executing programming, meeting residents' basic and emotional needs, and serving as a positive role model.

Candidates must possess an associate or bachelor’s degree in a social or behavioral science field or equivalent experience working with youth who have significant mental health needs. Required attributes include demonstrated reliability, strong self-Regulation skills for stressful situations, excellent communication, enthusiasm for learning, and a commitment to serving others.
