2026-2027 K-8th Grade Teacher- Gentilly

The teacher is responsible for providing an engaging, high-Quality educational experience by creating and implementing lesson plans aligned with french and louisiana state standards, ensuring cognitive challenge and differentiation for all students. Essential duties also include fostering a respectful classroom environment, utilizing effective instructional strategies, and maintaining professionalism through accurate documentation and communication.

A bachelor's degree and certification or the ability to gain certification in the instructional area are required, along with experience successfully creating and managing a classroom environment. A master's degree or certification in multiple instructional areas and experience with public or charter school systems are preferred.
