Counselor

This position provides chemical dependency treatment to men and women in the treatment program, involving conducting individual and group therapeutic sessions, lectures, and treatment team staffing under the program manager's direction. Essential duties include utilizing a strength-Based and trauma-Informed approach, monitoring client progress, completing documentation, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and standards.

Candidates must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and must hold a relevant nebraska license such as ladc, pladc, lmhp, plmhp, limhp, or plimp. Required experience involves working in substance abuse areas, along with the ability to implement treatment programs and demonstrate excellent communication and basic computer skills.
