Core responsibilities
Interns will assist the health and wellness team with projects like health education initiatives, support group coordination, medicaid follow-Up, and developing health resources for clients. Responsibilities also include organizing client meetings, conducting outreach, and researching health and mental health gaps for irc nj clients.
Requirements summary
Applicants must currently be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in public health, social work, or a related field, and be available for at least 15 hours per week with a minimum of 7.5 hours in-Person. Fluency in spanish, haitian creole, arabic, dari, or pashto is highly preferred, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
