Child Life Specialist Certified

As a child life specialist, you will plan, develop, and provide child life programming to meet the psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs of pediatric patients and their families. You will implement specialized services, educate families, and create a therapeutic environment for children in healthcare settings.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in child development, education, psychology, or a related field, and complete a child life internship under a certified child life specialist. Certification eligibility through the association of child life professionals is also required.
