Nursing Student Summer Extern - Oral Surgery

The nurse extern will assist with patient care under the immediate supervision of a registered nurse preceptor, functioning as a member of the nursing team in outpatient ambulatory settings. Responsibilities include observing, reporting, and documenting patient needs, monitoring specimens, and assisting with adls and patient transport.

Applicants must be nursing students currently enrolled in an accredited program and entering their senior year, expected to graduate in december 2026 or may 2027. A high school diploma or equivalent (Ged) is required, and candidates must possess basic communication and computer literacy skills.
