Independence Coach

The coach sets individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on a path to learn skills for independent living, employment, and community engagement by creating service plans and resource maps. Responsibilities include teaching technology use, facilitating goal achievement through milestones like independent travel, and connecting individuals with necessary community and vocational support services.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and be at least 21 years old, along with a valid tennessee driver's license with an f endorsement and required auto insurance. Successful performance requires being an experienced technology user with excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
