After School Group Leader

The group leader is responsible for leading and supporting children in the after school program during educational and recreational activities, which includes providing direction, guidance, and assistance to students while ensuring their safety and security. Essential duties also involve handling student discipline, communicating with stakeholders, managing building operations like opening/Closing, preparing snacks, recording attendance, and assisting with staff supervision.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a minimum of 460 verifiable hours of experience working with elementary school-Age children, along with a high school diploma or equivalent being preferred. Required certifications include a current cpr/First aid certification and standard precautions certification prior to working with children, with medication administration certifications due within 30 days of hire.
