After School Aide

The role is responsible for assisting after school program leaders in supervising children during childcare, educational, and recreational activities, including field trips. Duties involve providing guidance, handling discipline, ensuring student safety, communicating with stakeholders, preparing snacks, cleaning areas, and recording attendance.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and qualified according to department of human services regulations, requiring a criminal background check, current cpr/First aid certification, and a standard precautions certification prior to starting work. Experience in school environments and strong people skills are preferred, along with a commitment to the school's mission and values.
