High School STEM Permanent Substitute Teacher

The teacher will be responsible for creating and maintaining a classroom culture characterized by high expectations and support, while engaging scholars in rigorous, engaging lessons aligned with a coherent curriculum. Key duties also involve fostering social-Emotional growth, promoting active citizenship through current events and community service, and participating in whole-School activities.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and are preferred to have at least two years of teaching experience, particularly in urban education settings, along with state certification. Essential qualities include being mission-Driven, highly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and capable of using data analysis to drive instructional improvements.
