Core responsibilities

The instructor will be responsible for teaching pre-Licensure nursing students in classroom, clinical, and skills laboratory settings each semester, while also participating in instructional presentation, planning, and evaluation of instructional programs. Duties also include assisting in curriculum design, incorporating instructional technologies, recruiting students, advising students, and monitoring student retention.

Requirements summary

Minimum qualifications require an associate's degree in nursing and two years of full-Time experience as a registered nurse within the immediate past five years, along with an active, unencumbered kentucky rn license. A master of science in nursing degree and work history in medical-Surgical nursing are preferred.
