Provide group skating instruction while enforcing safety regulations and arena policies. Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff while tracking student progress.
$11.40-$13.20 DOE; all part-time employees receive a $20 premium family membership with employment.
· Must be at least 14 years of age · Must have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of skating & ability to perform basic-level skills effortlessly.
· Teach Learn-to-Skate classes alone or with another instructor. · Communicate effectively with both students and other LTS instructors and professionals · Cultivate an inclusive, positive, and upbeat environment that ensures skating becomes a safe, fun space for all participants · Monitor participants and respond appropriately to safety concerns, injuries, or emergencies
This position works under the supervision of the Ice Programs Coordinator.
