Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher supports the operation of a head start classroom for children ages 3 to 4, working collaboratively to manage the group and foster responsive teacher-Child interactions using the class™ framework. Responsibilities include delivering age-Appropriate, standards-Aligned instruction, monitoring developmental progress, tailoring learning experiences, and actively engaging families as partners.

Candidates must possess a deep commitment to working with young children in an inclusive, nurturing environment, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. A high school diploma is required, along with hands-On experience teaching preschool-Aged children and a collaborative, team-Oriented mindset aligned with the organization's mission.
