Core responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the head athletic trainer, this role provides physical therapy and assists in the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for the men's basketball team. Responsibilities also include providing trainer coverage for athletic activities, organizing orthopedic clinics, advising on injury care, team-Teaching athletic training classes, and supervising student trainers.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess either an associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience. The position requires moderate physical activity, including handling objects up to 25 pounds or standing/Walking for more than four hours daily, and involves exposure to physical risks requiring basic safety precautions.
