Chess Instructor | Spring

The instructor will lead fun, interactive chess classes for elementary students using a structured curriculum, focusing on teaching fundamentals and promoting good sportsmanship. Responsibilities also include managing the classroom environment, encouraging critical thinking, and adhering to all school safety protocols while traveling to various local school sites.

Candidates must have prior experience working with groups of children, such as teaching or coaching, and possess a strong grasp of chess fundamentals to explain concepts confidently to young students. Reliability, professional demeanor, and availability on weekday afternoons (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm window) to teach 1-5 classes weekly are essential requirements.
