Chess Instructor | Spring

The instructor will lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students using a structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship. This involves managing a lively classroom, encouraging critical thinking, and adhering to school safety protocols while traveling to various local school sites.

Candidates must have prior experience working with groups of children and be comfortable leading classes independently with an upbeat and engaging demeanor, possessing a strong grasp of chess fundamentals. Reliability, professional conduct, and availability on weekday afternoons (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm window) to teach 1–5 classes weekly are essential, along with reliable personal transportation.
