Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher will teach in a personalized instructional environment, manage services according to each student's individual education plan (Iep), and plan, organize, and implement daily lessons according to the approved curriculum. Responsibilities also include conducting pre-Testing and post-Testing, writing and implementing iep goals as part of a team, and managing student behavior.

Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree and a valid ohio teaching certification with an endorsement in special education, including english language and autism authorizations. Prior experience with exceptional learners is strongly recommended, along with proficiency in ms office and educational technology applications.
