Core responsibilities
Chaplain residents will provide spiritual care to patients, families, and clinical caregivers, integrating spiritual perspectives into meaning-Making, coping, and medical decision-Making processes within the interdisciplinary medical team. They are also responsible for participating fully in the cpe program, including supervision sessions and didactic learning, alongside providing on-Call coverage for trauma, code teams, and end-Of-Life care.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in a graduate-Level theological degree from an accredited institution, possess ordination, current endorsement, or good standing within their faith tradition, and have completed one unit of cpe in an acpe accredited program. The position requires full-Time commitment starting september 7, 2026, involving day shifts with rotations on weekends and holidays.
