Core responsibilities

Chaplain residents will provide spiritual care to patients, families, and clinical caregivers, integrating spiritual perspectives into meaning-Making, coping, and medical decision-Making processes within the interdisciplinary medical team. They are also responsible for participating fully in the cpe program, including supervision sessions and didactic learning, alongside providing on-Call coverage for trauma, code teams, and end-Of-Life care.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in a graduate-Level theological degree from an accredited institution, possess ordination, current endorsement, or good standing within their faith tradition, and have completed one unit of cpe in an acpe accredited program.
