Counselor

The counselor will provide essential mental health services including individual and group psychotherapy, complete intake evaluations, and manage crisis interventions for the university community. Responsibilities also involve supervising graduate practicum students, delivering training, and participating in community outreach services.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology or social work, or a doctoral degree in a related field, along with connecticut state licensure allowing independent practice by the date of hire. Required experience includes working with the college-Aged population, understanding student developmental issues, and demonstrating sensitivity to multicultural and disability issues.
