GME Resident Family Medicine

Resident physicians provide competent, compassionate patient care while working effectively as part of the healthcare team and carrying out timely administrative responsibilities like dictating discharge summaries. They must meet educational goals by adhering to schedules, complying with acgme duty hours, and attending required educational conferences.

Candidates must be enrolled in an acgme-Approved residency program at kaweah health and successfully match through the nrmp. Educationally, applicants are required to be graduates from a medical school recognized by the california medical board.
