GME Resident Emergency Medicine

Resident physicians provide competent, compassionate patient care while working effectively as part of the healthcare team and carrying out necessary administrative duties in a timely manner. They must meet the educational goals of their acgme residency program, adhere to duty hours, and attend required educational conferences.

Candidates must be enrolled in an acgme-Approved residency program at kaweah health and successfully match through the national residency match program (Nrmp). A prerequisite is graduation from a medical school recognized by the california medical board.
