Associate, Scoring Service

Responsibilities include evaluating responses to test questions from texas teacher candidates and internalizing scoring standards through participation in consensus scoring activities with other scorers. Scorers must also recognize and discuss various types of bias and meet established quality and productivity requirements.

Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree and have at least three years of teaching experience in the specific subject area within texas classrooms in the past three years, or currently hold a valid texas teaching certificate in that subject. Candidates must reside in texas, have basic computer skills, and agree to strict confidentiality and ethical obligations regarding test security.
