After School Counselor I

The after school counselor i is responsible for providing physical, mental, and spiritual growth opportunities for children by planning and implementing daily, academically rich activities. Key duties include supervising and ensuring the safety of school-Age children during homework and recreational periods.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess a minimum of six months of experience working with youth, demonstrating the ability to be a good role model and adapt to changing needs. Preferred qualifications include six credits/Units in child development/Elementary education or 60 hours of approved childcare training, along with at least one year of childcare setting experience.
