Core responsibilities
The swim team coach will be responsible for developing the abilities of swimmers across various ages and skill levels throughout the swim season. This includes planning, directing, and attending all swim team practices, meets, and functions while ensuring a safe and positive environment.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be at least 16 years old with two years of high school education or equivalent, and possess previous experience as a competitive swimming coach and/Or swimmer. Excellent communication, supervisory, organizational, and human relations skills are required, along with a commitment to the ymca's mission and values.
