Swim Instructor - Parkview Family YMCA

The swim instructor is responsible for creating a safe and positive atmosphere around the pool and conducting swimming instruction following yusa guidelines. This involves building authentic relationships with members, participants, and parents while ensuring a nurturing environment for participants to achieve program goals.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess certification from an approved organization or be willing to obtain one. Essential qualifications include excellent communication, supervisory, organizational, and human relations skills, along with enthusiasm and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
