Head Start Teacher

The head start teacher is responsible for leading a classroom of 3–4-Year-Old children, implementing a child-Centered curriculum, and addressing challenging behaviors through observation and intervention. This role involves documenting children's progress, partnering with families, and ensuring all classroom experiences are developmentally, linguistically, culturally, and age-Appropriate.

Candidates must possess an associate or bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education, or equivalent coursework, or meet the requirements of the head start act. The position also requires passing a physical exam and background checks, having a valid driver's license or reliable transportation, and involves up to 10% local or long-Distance travel.
