Special Education Assistant (2026-27 School Year), #1261: Ingenium Charter School, Canoga Park, CA

The special education assistant provides direct support to students with special needs in classroom settings, assisting the special education teacher and general education team to ensure students meet their academic and behavioral individualized education program (Iep) goals. This role involves assisting with the physical needs of students, presenting educational materials, implementing behavior plans, and providing general student supervision as required.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, along with an associate's degree, 48 college credits, or passage of the cbest or an equivalent proficiency test in reading, math, and writing. Experience working with special education students for 2-4 years is highly desired.
