About the Role

The Learning Experience – Meridian is seeking a dedicated Early Preschool Lead Teacher to guide our 2½–3 year old classroom. This role bridges the transition from toddler learning to preschool readiness and focuses on building independence, classroom routines, potty training success, and early academic foundations.

This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys shaping structure, supporting developmental milestones, and preparing children for their preschool journey.

What You’ll Do

Lead a classroom of young learners in a safe, structured, and engaging environment Implement early pre-preschool curriculum aligned with the L.E.A.P. approach Support language development, early problem-solving, and social-emotional growth Guide children through toileting routines and increasing independence Establish consistent classroom expectations and transitions Communicate daily with families regarding progress and routines Maintain a clean, organized classroom aligned with licensing standards Partner with assistant teachers and leadership to ensure classroom success

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or GED required Experience working with children ages 2–3 required Lead classroom experience preferred CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework a plus Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices CPR/First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain Must meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements
