Child Care Worker

The child care worker provides direct supervision and engagement for children in a residential setting, fostering a safe environment that supports learning and behavioral management according to established policies. Essential duties include teaching daily living skills, assisting with appointments, administering medication, maintaining facility safety, and thoroughly documenting child progress and behavior.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required qualifications include passing background checks, obtaining cpr/First aid and cpi certification, having a valid driver's license, and becoming a certified residential child and youth care practitioner within 180 days.
