Special Education Academic Coach III

The special education academic coach iii ensures students with exceptional diverse needs access the general education curriculum, primarily by working one-To-One with a student with intensive needs. Duties include assisting teachers, facilitating small group and individual instruction, monitoring progress, and providing necessary health and behavioral support.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma/Ged along with either an associate's degree, 48 or more college units, or demonstrated knowledge of reading, writing, and mathematics readiness through an academic assessment. Desired qualifications include experience in a learning environment and experience implementing applied behavior analysis or supporting medical needs.
