OR EYE TEAM Staff Nurse - 85%25

The staff nurse will assess, plan, provide, and evaluate nursing care for ophthalmic surgical patients, integrating nursing theory and research into clinical practice while providing leadership to the nursing team. Responsibilities also include maintaining clinical skills in operating rooms, participating in education, policy development, and assisting physicians with procedures.

Required qualifications include an associate degree, diploma, or higher degree in nursing, current iowa rn license, and current bls certification or completion within six months. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, along with general computer skills, are also mandatory.
