Requirements summary

Candidates must obtain and maintain a child development teacher assistant permit or higher from the california commission on teacher credentialing and must be enrolled in a child development associate credential program to be completed within two years of hire. Successful candidates must also obtain and maintain pediatric first aid and cpr cards, pass a pre-Employment physical, tuberculosis clearance, and fingerprint process, and provide required vaccination verifications.
