Teacher II / III

Teachers partner with a team teacher to develop weekly lesson plans, maintain a safe and positive classroom climate, and assess each child to individualize educational plans. They also engage parents, act as second in command when the site supervisor is absent, and ensure 100% supervision of children at all times.

Teacher ii requires an associate's degree in early childhood education/Child development and eligibility for a child development teacher permit, including specific unit requirements. Teacher iii requires a bachelor's degree or higher, 12 ece/Cd units, eligibility for a master teacher permit, and one year of relevant teaching experience.
