Essential duties and responsibilities
The following are the responsibilities of the Afterschool Teacher in relation to
- Spiritual leadership -
- Act as the spiritual leader of school and community.
- Show evidence of a consistent time of personal Bible study, prayer and outreach.
- Maintain a Christ-like attitude.
- GENERAL –
- Pick up students in the correct classrooms
- Take attendance and hand out snacks
- Interact with students and maintain order
- Handle minor discipline issues
- Help students with homework
- Lead students through transitions keeping them safe and on task
- Monitor inside play and develop relationships
- Assist with dismissal and clean-up
