Lactation Consultant I, RN

The lactation consultant i is responsible for providing clinical care, support, and education to breastfeeding mothers and their babies. This role also involves offering consultative support and education to nursing staff, medical staff, and community breastfeeding support groups.

Candidates are required to be a registered nurse and an international board certified lactation consultant, with the latter needing to be obtained within one year of hire. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in breastfeeding and experience in education, teaching, and facilitation of learning are also mandatory.
