Core responsibilities
This role supports the school community by implementing systems for positive behavior through frameworks like rti2b and mtss, while also conducting trainings for staff on classroom management and behavior proficiency. The coach will also provide direct support to individual students by conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans to decrease infractions and increase achievement.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree is required in education, social work, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience supporting children or families in roles such as a certified teacher, social worker, or counselor. Demonstrated experience and training in restorative practices are mandatory, and a master's degree is preferred.
