Ex Ed Teacher

The primary role involves ensuring students with disabilities learn to their highest potential by identifying individual needs, creating a supportive environment, and acting as a case manager and instructional connector. Responsibilities include coordinating individualized education programs (Ieps), managing caseloads, delivering specialized instruction in various settings, and conducting ongoing data collection on student progress.

Candidates must possess a valid tennessee teaching certification in special education with specific endorsements (144, 145, 460, or 461) and hold a bachelor's degree. Required knowledge includes idea, state special education rules, and experience working with mild to moderate disabilities, alongside strong organizational and technology skills.
