Nursing Professional Development Practitioner

The nursing professional development practitioner supports the professional competence and growth of nurses by applying the anpd practice model to manage onboarding, competency, education, role development, and quality improvement initiatives. Primary duties involve delivering education, managing competency validation, supporting orientation, and acting as a liaison between clinical staff and leadership.

A minimum requirement is a bachelor of science in nursing (Bsn) along with 2 years of clinical nursing experience and an unencumbered nursing license approved by the georgia licensing board. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in nursing and prior experience in education, leadership, precepting, or mentorship.
