The intervention specialist is responsible for delivering high-Quality academic, social, and behavioral support services to students with active ieps, 504 plans, and/Or bips, including collaborating with general education teachers for co-Teaching instruction. A major component involves ensuring compliance by writing high-Quality special education documents, maintaining detailed electronic files, and implementing progress monitoring systems for student goals.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and hold a valid and current ohio special education license, along with satisfactory completion of required criminal history checks. Essential qualifications include strong data analysis skills, proficiency in computer applications like google docs and ms office, and a deep understanding of federal and state special education policies and laws.
