The retention officer is responsible for quickly contacting students who may be candidates for dropping out to implement processes that prevent student loss. Essential tasks include maintaining daily contact with faculty to identify at-Risk students and tracking case statistics for follow-Up.

A bachelor's degree is required in human behavior, psychology, or social work, along with a minimum of one year of experience in the specialty area. Complete proficiency in ms office is also mandatory for this role.
