Child Life Assistant

The assistant implements activities supporting normal growth and development, provides developmentally supportive play opportunities for patients and siblings, and maintains a safe, inviting playroom environment. This role also involves training volunteers, documenting care plans, and serving as a liaison between the hospital and community organizations.

Minimum qualifications require either an associate degree in a related field plus one year of relevant experience or a high school diploma plus two years of relevant experience, with required basic life support certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree and up to five years of experience in a children's hospital setting.
