ED Nurse Extern

This role involves assisting the registered nurse by providing direct patient care to enhance comfort and facilitate diagnostic and treatment procedures as outlined in the care plan. Responsibilities also include assisting the rn with the patient's daily living activities and performing designated procedures following departmental guidelines.

Applicants must be entering their final semester or year of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate rn program and must obtain basic life support certification within 30 days of hire. The position requires the ability to perform prolonged standing and walking, lift up to 40 pounds, and possess necessary visual, auditory, oral acuity, and manual dexterity.
