Wound Ostomy Nurse

The wound ostomy nurse provides care and consultation for patients with wounds and gi/Gu system alterations, serving as a resource and educator for healthcare professionals and patients. They collaborate with other healthcare providers to plan and deliver comprehensive patient care.

Candidates must have a current registered nurse license and three years of clinical nursing experience. A bachelor’s degree in nursing and certification as a wound care nurse are preferred qualifications.
