Career Counselor

The primary responsibility involves delivering comprehensive counseling services to residential and non-Residential students covering personal, social development, career employment, and behavior, including individual and group sessions and crisis intervention. Duties also include conducting intake assessments, developing personal career development plans (Pcdp), monitoring student progress, and ensuring timely documentation of all interactions.

Successful candidates must possess proficiency in advanced microsoft office applications, demonstrate strong computer literacy, and exhibit high levels of communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills necessary for effective student motivation and counseling. A bachelor's degree is required, which must include 15 semester hours of social services-Related instruction, along with one year of experience in counseling or a related field.
