Outreach & Admissions Counselor

The primary responsibility is meeting center arrival goals through community outreach and involvement to attract eligible applicants for the job corps program, while also supporting student retention throughout enrollment. This involves conducting outreach activities, interviewing candidates, determining basic eligibility, and providing career-Based counseling.

Candidates must possess proficiency in advanced microsoft office applications, computer literacy, and knowledge of admissions and recruitment processes, coupled with high levels of communication and organizational skills. A bachelor's degree in a related field or an associate's degree plus two years of related experience is required, along with a valid state driver's license.
