Lactation Consultant - Augusta, GA - Full Time

The lactation consultant provides specialized care to breastfeeding families through inpatient and outpatient consults, addressing physiological, emotional, and developmental needs using a family-Centered approach. Responsibilities also include functioning as a consultant, instructor, and mentor to healthcare professionals and clients in hospital and community settings.

Candidates must possess specialized education and extensive experience in managing breastfeeding family needs, with a minimum of 2500 hours of breastfeeding experience typically required for entry-Level practice. Required certifications include bls, and clc is mandatory, with ibclc preferred.
