Sports Coach I

The sports staff is responsible for officiating adult and youth sports programs such as basketball, soccer, and volleyball, ensuring rules are followed consistently and fairly while stopping play when necessary. This role also requires demonstrating the ymca philosophy, reporting injuries according to safety guidelines, and managing large groups during games.

Candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and demonstrate the ability to manage all aspects of the game they are officiating. Required certifications include cpr/Aed & first aid within 30 days of hire, and the preferred minimum age is 18 with six months of related experience preferred.
