Academic Intervention Specialist (26/27 School Year)

The academic intervention specialist will assist with preparation and instruction across math, ela, science, and social studies, focusing on providing tier 2 and 3 interventions to small groups of students. Key duties include actively participating in weekly meetings, sharing collected data with stakeholders, implementing classroom policies, and following the response to intervention (Rti) process.

Candidates must possess new york state certification and a bachelor's degree, with a master's degree preferred, and must pass fingerprint clearance through the nys department of education. Experience with diverse populations or in an urban setting is a plus, and novice teachers are encouraged to apply.
