A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Works as part of an interdisciplinary team and assigned a NYS licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist clinical supervisor who provides guidance to satisfy requirements for both licensure and completion of the ASHA Clinical Fellowship (CFY). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Completes the evaluation/assessment of multiple acquired conditions that impact communication abilities. Designs and implements an appropriate plan of care for treatment and revisions to meet a patient’s individual needs. Provides rehabilitative services to a wide range of acquired impairments in the areas of communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders. Prepares clinical reports and departmental paperwork as required. Other duties as assigned.
