Advising Support Specialist (Newark Campus)

The advising support specialist will advise students in assigned majors, implementing proactive strategies to ensure academic goal achievement and providing individualized advising on course selection aligned with academic and career interests. This role involves supporting students in navigating university policies, degree requirements, and making referrals to various student support resources.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with a preferred minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience. Desired qualifications include experience in academic advising or student services, strong communication and relational skills, basic sis transaction ability, and knowledge of advising policies and student success practices.
